The BCS Schools web design competition is a great opportunity for students of all ages to have a go at designing their own website.

The site can be about anything, as long as it relates to Jersey. You can design the site by yourself or in teams of up to four people.

There are three age groups for entries, based on the school or college that you attend:

-          Primary School

-          Secondary School (GCSE)

-          Secondary School (A-Level)

Although you will enter into one of the three categories, you don’t actually have to enter through your school, you can also enter through your youth club or youth organisation. However, you must enter through one of these groups because you cannot enter by yourself.

The Prizes

There are thousands of pounds worth of prizes on offer. Each age category has a first, second and third prize to be won and there’s also a prize worth £9000 for the school or youth group that performs best in the competition.
